Our world famous salmon fishing and halibut fishing grounds are located off of Ucluelet on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, BC.

Our salmon fishing charters will take you as far as 25 miles off shore of Ucluelet to some of the best salmon fishing grounds in the world. Our waters offer some of the largest runs of Chinook and Coho Salmon to be found.

Depending on when you book your salmon fishing charter, you could experience the migration of majestic Gray and Humpback whales that grace our coastline each year.

Besides salmon fishing there are Halibut and Lingcod. Our Halibut grounds are famous for some of the best Halibut fishing anywhere in the world.

Come and experience fishing for abundant, feisty winter Springs ranging from 10 – 25 lbs.

This early fishery is one of the best-kept secrets on the wild West Coast!!

These fish are hard fighting on 10' lightweight mooching rods. Because these fish are just starting to fatten themselves up for the river run in the fall, the meat is mild and sweet.

Six (6) hour salmon trip - $600 + HST

Eight (8) hour salmon and/or halibut trip - $800 + HST

Charter trip is for 2 people

Accommodation at Selah Guest House is available
$80 per room, per night, double occupancy

More than just Salmon Fishing

Ucluelet is the gateway to many outdoor activities other than salmon fishing. The Broken Island Group and Barkley Sound offer amazing opportunities for kayakers as well as whale watching.

A trip to Ucluelet would not be complete without walking along the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet or riding the surf at one of the local beaches in Tofino, BC.

There is a young man that I know that lives, breathes and dreams about fishing. This is Jack’s story....

Jack was three years old when I first met him. He was walking by the boat I was running and insisted on stopping to check out the fish that were lying on the floor of my boat. While I was cleaning the fish, a pilchard (sardine) slid out of one of the big Springs and Jack really wanted to check it out! I took a picture of him that day.
